Found land you love somewhere else?

Tell us where it is. If it checks out, we buy it, and you pay for it within up to 4 years (48 months).

Banks do not finance land purchases. TerraGo does. This is how.

How Buy-to-Own works

  1. You find the land

Anywhere. Send us the location and the seller's details on WhatsApp.

  2. An independent valuer confirms what it is worth

Not TerraGo's figure: a third-party professional valuation. That number sets your price. You are never asked to accept a price we invented.

  3. We run the checks

Title search, survey, encumbrances. If the land does not pass, we tell you why, and you will have learned something important about that land for a fraction of what a bad purchase costs.

  4. You pay a 10% commitment

You pay 10% and we pay 90%. Your commitment secures the purchase and shows us you are serious; the 90% we finance goes onto your chosen payment plan.

  5. We buy it and register it in TerraGo's name

You pay the balance on your plan: up to 48 months (4 years), daily to quarterly. When you finish, you get the title.

Work out your Buy-to-Own payment

Your final price is set by an independent professional valuation, not by TerraGo. Enter the asking price to see an estimate.

What we cannot buy

"Any land" has limits, and you deserve to know them before you spend a shilling on valuation. We cannot buy:

If you are unsure which side of the line your land falls on, ask us first. The check costs you nothing.

The costs, stated openly

Here is exactly who pays what, before you spend a shilling:

Cost Who pays, and when
Valuation fees (2.5% of the land value) You pay this when you initiate the purchase. It is not refundable, because it goes to the independent third-party valuer, not to TerraGo.
Stamp duty and transfer to TerraGo Paid by TerraGo.

What happens if you fall behind

The policy is the same as for a TerraGo estate purchase. A late instalment attracts a daily penalty of 0.1% of that instalment. After 9 days you are in default, and you then have a 21-day cure period to clear what is outstanding before the agreement can be ended.

Tell us about the land you found

This starts as a conversation, not a checkout. Send us the location and asking price on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it can work.
